My Ten Truths
Ten things about myself that I know for sure:
1. I’ll always want to order and devour the chocolate dessert before dinner.
2. I have few regrets. Life works out just as it should.
3. I will always prefer Diet-Anything-Drink over boring water.
4. I’ll never-ever like cardio.
5. I’ll always have a love-hate relationship with my husband.
6. I’ll never like my thighs.
7. I will never understand algebra and geometry, but will always love all-things English and literature.
8. When I cross a busy street, I will always envision myself being hit by a car and my things flying into the air and falling all around.
9. I’ll always wonder why I didn’t have more kids, but then I’ll remind myself of #2.
10. I will always clip coupons and never use them.
Come on! Don’t be shy… post your own truths!

1. I do not like fruit or vegetables, even though I know I should eat them.
2. I have finally convinced myself that there is no need to clean my house spotless every week, especially when no one is ever there. Not even I.
3. I can easily be manipulated or bribed with pizza, gyros, tacos, or fried pickles from Hooters.
4. I have a difficult time with things that are in the grey area and not clearly black or white.
5. I compare myself to other people too much.
6. I’ll never like my thighs.
7. I enjoy shopping at Target waaay too much.
8. I’m definitely retiring somewhere warm – preferably on an island in the Caribbean. And hopefully at an early age.
9. I will always miss my dog Oscar. I’ll never find a dog as cool as he was. I still think about him every day.
10. I will never understand why, with all the money he has, Donald Trump has such awful hair.
No wonder we are such good friends Lisa. I could add almost all of your truths to my own list!
Eagerly awaiting the grand opening of your own blog,
onebetamom
1. Sleep is HIGHLY under-rated.
2. Some may consider me articulate, others might think eloquent, still others might find me poetic, but certain aspects of my communication style will drive a fair number of people to contemplate either suicide, homicide, or a combination of the two.
3. I can easily beat a topic dead into the ground, then beat it some more when it comes back as a zombie.
4. Though I aim for serenity, my mind houses an terrific vortex of ever-churning thoughts, and sometimes I even scare myself!
5. I like giving just as much as receiving.
6. No one is perfect; nope, not even me!
7. I’m no sloth, but I am lazy (or is that Beta?) – deal with it.
8. I’ll probably be 73 and still playing video games.
9. I have little patience for those that are impatient.
10. I believe there is my truth, your truth, and THE truth; of course, I think my truth is THE truth.
Thank you, Yakov, (whoever you are out there) for your fabulous truths! One comment and question – you clearly are a deep thinker. Do you take the time to just zone-out and give your mind a rest or is that what #8 is for? And I have no doubt that your truth is THE truth, too.
