Our Dinner Party
We recently had a dinner party at our home with good friends and tantalizing food. (I can use such adjectives as ‘tantalizing’ because I was one of two chefs.) Regardless of the fact that my husband says it will be our last dinner party due to the day-long preparation, my house has never been cleaner, and, in my best estimation, we and our guests had a fabulous evening.
Blend fresh, homemade dishes made with lovingly careful preparation and various friends from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and personalities and you have the makings for an engaging evening. Throw in a few board games (love Cranium) and we couldn’t go wrong. And all this fun without a single adult beverage – we don’t drink alcohol nor have it in our home – and God bless our friends who all respect this. Hoping both that your mouth will water and you’ll join us next time (there will be a next time, honey), below was the menu.
