Do Your Part… and Look Cute

July 13, 2009

BaggusDisclaimer: I’m not what you would call an environmentalist, but I do what I can. I don’t litter, I don’t let the water run in the sink needlessly, I don’t own a gas-guzzling SUV, and I reuse my plastic water bottles. I have three pairs of eyes watching me at all times and want to set a good example by being responsible and considerate of the planet.

With that being said, what I’m loving right now is my set of Baggus, and, of course, I think you’d love them too. Baggus are reusable nylon shopping bags in fun colors and patterns that you fill all your goodies with. You’ll feel so much better carrying Baggus instead of those crappy plastic bags that are clogging our landfills. It’s a complete waste that every time I go to the grocery store I come out with even more bags that I’m just never going to reuse. I’m using my Baggus for more than shopping, too. They are sturdy enough to hold up to the abuses of children (did I mention they’re washable?) and big enough to put all the beach-going items in. I also bought smaller ones for each of my kid’s school lunches – far better than wasting paper bags every day. Check them out and order a bag or several. Take my word for it, you’ll be doing your part and looking cute!

They are cute. I only have one reusable bag and I mostly forget to use it. Lame, I know. I always bring a stainless steel water bottle to work though, so that must count for something?

That is still my problem too – Always forgetting to bring them with. The Baggus are nice, though, becuase you can squish them down to a really small size and throw them in your purse… or the glove box.

And, yes, your stainless steel water bottle defn counts!!!
