My Ten for the Day
Although most certainly not invented by me, I’ve found the one thing that makes my two younger kids do what they need in the mornings to make it to school. On time. A List of Ten tasks they must complete. Now, if it’s good enough for my kidlets, it’s good enough for me, so I now have my own ten for the day.
My Ten for the Day in no particular order
1. Vitamin – Take it
2. Bedroom – It’s nice to come home after a long day to a clean bedroom and an inviting bed! Now the kitchen is another story. Thankfully I don’t sleep in the kitchen and can easily avoid it when ordering in.
3. Eating Log – Bite it, Write it
4. Exercise – Minimum 20 mins
5. Water – In line with my eating and exercising, I am not drinking anymore diet-soda-anythings.
6. Thankful Spirit – Remember everyday just how much I have to be thankful for. And act like it.
7. Kiss – My husband and each kid multiple times
8. Perspective – Keep work stress in check and in perspective. And remember it’s a paycheck, not my life.
9. Beauty – Take the time to at least run a comb through my hair and apply a bit of makeup. And avoid the pony tail. No point in having long hair if I’m constantly keeping it up.
10. Dress – I don’t need to love what I’m wearing, but I need to feel comfortable and attractive in it, not sloppy.

Good idea! I like #7 best!
This sounds like a great way to start any day! I may miss a few on some days, but make sure I do the important ones!
“Perspective – Keep work stress in check and in perspective. And remember it’s a paycheck, not my life.”
So true, but so difficult to remember when I need my paycheck to live my life. Ugh.
