What are my top 5 New Year’s resolutions for getting healthy and fit in 2010?
I can so answer this one because I’m already doing it with the fat loss program!
Less-of-Me – I’m working to lose inches not numbers on the scale. My focus is on healthy food intake including lots of protein.
Mindful Eating – I bite it, I write it to always be conscious of what fuel I’m giving my body. While I accept that I’ll miss documenting every now and then, mindful eating is required. This goal includes kicking the Diet-Coke habit once and for all. (Do you really know how bad soda is for us? It just does.not.fit into a healthy lifestyle. Check out why here – scroll to Chris’ comments at the bottom. And, yep, that’s me – Sheri from Chicago!)
Action-Jackson – I will be sweaty-active no less than 3x a week with the ultimate goal of 5x a week. Let’s be clear: Active means a minimum of 30 mins at a time. And sweaty means red-sweaty-cheeks.
Required Fix – In regards to food, I will indulge when necessary because life, even a healthy one, is too short. Indulge not binge. And I will still maintain my quality food requirement when indulging – can you say dark chocolate?
Spoil Me– And, last but not least, I will reward myself for a job well-done. Rewards are in a monetary fashion, nail salon visits, online shopping, etc. Not food! I look at it this way – I’m not against liposuction. So, if that’s gonna cost me at least $8k, I can at least reward myself with a pedicure for avoiding that price tag.
I would love to have great to have my very-own Your Shape (http://www.yourshapegame.com)! How are you getting healthy in 2010? Tell everyone here!
