I’m still around

To all my faithful readers out there – all two or three of you – I’m not in hiding and everything is great! I hope you’re dong well too with the heat of summer moving in.

I haven’t been posting on my personal blog because I’m working on another blog project with a Southerly gentleman who wants me to build blogs for his clients. My work-in-progress ‘business blog’ site is at willyoumakemeablog.com (funny title, eh?).

With this project, I’ve been doing a lot of research and practice on using custom WordPress themes to make a blog look even less like a blog. I’ve been amazed at the sheer amount of plug-ins that are out there and have been busy figuring it all out. In my web design days, I used to spend literally hours building a site from scratch. Now, a blog, which looks just as good (if not better), can be created in a few hours. (I’m very glad, however, that I do know how to look at code because that makes using the themes even easier and more customizable.)

I also built a blog for a woman I met doing the weight loss program back in January. Her name is Melissa Bierman, she rocks, and here’s the blog I build for her -> bodynsyncnow.com
