Misleading $25 Credit at Vault Marketplace – Vau.lt
Every single one of us works hard to earn a living and pay our bills, so when I come across a good deal, I’m usually interested. (And I love to share the deals with my friends.)
And typically it happens just as it should – I get the discount and save a few bucks.
And then there are the times it doesn’t. And I’m left feeling fooled.
Let me tell you about VAULT MARKETPLACE - http://www.vau.lt - a shopping site with free membership.
I signed up because of the $25 credit and free shipping they prominently advertise… And once I created an account and logged in, I saw the page below and promptly shared my personal invite link with my sister.
So, let me ask you, from this page, what should happen when she makes a purchase?
Well, it tells you very clearly – - “…You’ll get a $25 credit applied to your account once their first order ships…“
{Note that there’s no little asterisk directing you to further info on the offer. And the $25 credit that it shows I have for when *I* first signed up.}
Her $40 order was shipped to her; I didn’t see the $25 referral credit in my account.
Long-story short: Vault told me that I should have read terms & conditions under section 19 that states that your friend’s order needs to be $50 or more in order for me to get the $25 credit.
{Read my email correspondence with them at supportdesk@vau.lt}
What am I missing here? I think Vault’s referral offer is misleading and deceptive.
Do you think I’m wrong? I have been a few times before.
{And, really, the $25 is not the point. I just feel like I’ve been fooled.}

yeah..well i invited lots of people (sorry) and it showed up on my FB page, too. I’m excited that my $48 bracelet, really only cost me $23 (+free shipping) but that is very disappointing that you don’t get the $25 credit…as a good sister…
…i assumed there was something you wanted to buy….and i, in turn, wanted to help you get it at a great price!
How do you use the $25 credit?
Why not try to contact them about it? I received my $25 credit with no issues and just in time to shop for Mother’s day. It shows up in your total when you checkout. We all work hard but, they are giving $25 credit for customer referrals that is risk/work free, not clearing a debt lol.
